Use in Cancer
Recombinant human papillomavirus (HPV) bivalent vaccine is approved to preventsome conditions caused by certain types of HPV. The vaccine protects against two different types of HPV.
It is used in females aged 9 to 25 years to prevent the following:
- Cervical cancer.
- Lesions that sometimes lead to cervical cancer.
Recombinant HPV bivalent vaccine is no longer available in the United States. It is still used in other countries.
