Use in Cancer

Gemtuzumab ozogamicin is approved to treat:

  • Acute myeloid leukemia that is CD33 positive.
    • It is used in adults and children aged 2 or older whose disease has relapsed or is refractory (does not respond to treatment).
    • It is used in adults with newly diagnosed disease.

Gemtuzumab ozogamicin is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
