Use in Cancer

Fluorouracil injection is approved to treat:

  • Breast cancer.
  • Colorectal cancer.
  • Gastric (stomach) cancer.
  • Pancreatic cancer.

Fluorouracil is also called 5-FU. Fluorouracil is also being studied in the treatment of other conditions and types of cancer.
