Use in Cancer

Oxaliplatin is approved to be used with other drugs to treat:

  • Colorectal cancer that is advanced.
  • Stage III colon cancer. It is used as adjuvant therapy in patients who have had surgery to remove the cancer.

Oxaliplatin is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
