Use in Cancer
Cetuximab is approved to be used alone or with other drugs to treat:
- Colorectal cancer that has metastasized (spread to other parts of the body).
- Squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck that is:
- Local or advanced. It is used with radiation therapy.
- Recurrent or metastatic.
Cetuximab is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer.
